1 · What Mood Art is

Mood Art creates original abstract compositions from your description of a mood. Each composition is generated algorithmically, is defined entirely by its specification and seed, and can be re-rendered identically at any size.

2 · Independence

Mood Art is an independent project. Compositions are original works inspired by the visual language of neoplasticism, the movement associated with Piet Mondrian (1872–1944). The name "Mondrian" is used descriptively and historically only. Mood Art is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the artist's estate or any related organisation, and no composition reproduces any existing artwork.

3 · AI transparency

Your text, portrait photo, and voice input are analysed by an artificial-intelligence system to estimate an emotional reading (valence, arousal, focus), which you can review and correct before composing. This reading is an artistic interpretation only — it is not a psychological, medical, or diagnostic assessment of any kind, and no attempt is made to identify persons in photographs.

4 · Privacy

• Text, photos, and voice input are processed transiently to generate your artwork and are not stored on our servers.
• Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card details. Your order (e-mail, shipping address for prints, and the artwork specification) is retained within Stripe's systems as required to deliver your purchase and meet legal obligations.

5 · Purchases, delivery & withdrawal

• Digital originals are delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, in accordance with EU consumer law on digital content supplied immediately, the 14-day right of withdrawal thereby lapses.
• Prints are produced individually to your order (made-to-order, personalised goods) and are therefore exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. Production and delivery typically take 5–10 business days within Europe.
• Items damaged in transit or with production defects are replaced free of charge — contact us with a photo within 14 days of delivery.
• Prices include EU shipping and, where applicable, VAT.

6 · Certificate of unicity

Each purchase includes a digitally signed certificate attesting that the composition is uniquely determined by its specification, identified by its SHA-256 fingerprint, and issued once within the Mood Art system. The certificate documents provenance and uniqueness; it is not an appraisal, makes no statement of monetary or investment value, and confers the licence described below.

7 · Licence

Your purchase grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display, print, and personally use your composition, including gifting the physical print. Commercial redistribution of the underlying generative system is not included.

8 · Colour & reproduction

Screen colours and printed colours can differ slightly; fine-art papers, canvas, and framing render the palette differently by nature. The subtle hand-painted irregularities of lines and whites are an intended part of every composition.
